Hi, I’m KhadijaYour introverted travel bestie
I’m a solo traveler from Brooklyn, New York, navigating the world one city at a time—without quitting my 9–5 or burning all my PTO. I believe travel should feel freeing, flexible, and realistic, no matter how much time or energy you have.
If you’ve ever wanted to just go somewhere without waiting on anyone else, you’re in the right place.
Why I Travel SoloI didn’t start traveling solo because it was trendy or brave. I started because I was tired of waiting—waiting for schedules to align, waiting for decisions, waiting to see if someone else wanted the same kind of trip I did.
I wanted to plan trips my way. I wanted to decide how long I stayed, how much I spent, what I did, and when I rested—without compromising or explaining myself.
Like many people, I heard all the warnings: that solo travel is dangerous, too expensive, or too time-consuming. But fear exists everywhere, and it shouldn’t be the reason you miss out on experiences that matter to you. Traveling solo showed me that I’m capable, adaptable, and far more confident than I realized.
Traveling as a IntrovertSolo travel is peaceful for me.
As an introvert, I love being alone—and traveling on my own has allowed me to fully lean into that. I get to move at my own pace, skip the club scene, change my itinerary last minute, eat the same meal multiple times without complaints, and enjoy quiet moments without feeling rushed.
Some days are packed with plans. Some days aren’t. Either way, I get to travel in a way that feels right for me—and that sense of confidence stays with me long after the trip ends.

It can be a weekend trip to the next state.
It can be your first solo flight or a quiet return to a place you already love.
